Jack’s Communications Team Asleep at the Wheel
Jack’s meagre campaign team here in Toronto-Danforth just dropped this piece of literature on one of my friends’ doorstep. I couldn’t believe it. “Don’t Vote for an Empty Chair.” Jack is clearly out of touch as well as out of riding. But for the first time in a long while, I agree with Jack. Except the empty chair that I’m not going to vote for was the one at the local debate that belonged to Jack Layton.

you mean that “meagre” campaign team that beat your candidate by the same margin as 2006? you do realise that with the lower voter turnout that means you lost by a bigger percentage, right?
i suppose we’ll see Liberals out in force opposing the SmartCentres Wal-Mart complex and requesting that your provincial buddies shut down the Portlands Energy Centre and cancel plans to run a high-voltage trasmission line right through our neighbourhood?
